SPLIT KAFKA / dEFDUMp
The split kafka/dEFDUMp, will be released for the LIBERATION
DAY FEST (15/03/03). This is going to be the cover (on
mouse over to see the other side). The record will be
the fruit of several companies cooperation : No! rec,
Selfullfillment rec (Lux), Hurry up rec, Bloody tears
collective, Invictus crew (Ger), Shove rec, Circle pit
rec, Rebound action.
For The first release there are gonna be a thousand (1000)
copies. 2 new pieces will be added: "non credere"
(don't believe) e "una vita all'inferno" (a
life in hell), while defdump. will present 3 new songs:
"the shallowness of beauty", "the aesthetic
of shame", "silk threads and fine line".

ENDSTAND / KAFKA IS OUT!!!
The split is out! It is produced by Fuxony rec (Brighton)
and No! records, and contain 4 songs per each band plus
a Negative Approach cover performed by Endstand. The
title is "Differente actitud juvenil". The
split is born by an idea of Buzz, the guy who leads
Fuxony, and both the bands really liked it. The split
cd, dividing a record with another band gives you the
chance to have a large and effective distribution without
desperately looking for the cohoperation of big labels.
This allows us to be the creators of the whole thing,
from the promotion to the realization of the cover,
from production to distibution. This is hardcore for
us, too. About the promotion, we are palnning some Italian
dates and a week tour in Austria and Germany with Endstand
and Kafka together.... More news soon!

THE
FOOD NOT BOMBS COMPILATION GOES ON WELL
The compilation was out at the end of August 2001. In
a short time wemanaged to give most of the copies, also
thanks to the great an unexpected cohoperation we had.
Many people, especially in the small DIYrealities, helped
us distributing the compilation. If you want to helptoo,
you can buy it at distro's rate: 10000 Italian liras +
ppd. We alsolooking for zines interested in promoting
the FNB benefit compilation with further promotion. If
you have a web page you might insert the FNB banner...check
the Food not Bombs section. |

It's
a lot since the band started dealing with other activities which
go beyond playing, but we just started calling these activities
Kafka Collective. With the issue of the 7'' Black Out we formed
NO! RECORDS, a small indipendent label which produces our and
others' stuff. We also started a distro of Italian and European
records and zines, which provides us the money for our projects.
In 1999 we also started EZINE , an online zine in English, and
since the beginning of the year we are trying to promotr the
ideas of Food not Bombs, a pacifist organization, near to the
anarchical movement, which is involved in the distribution of
vegetarian food which was "descarted by society".
Our aim is to spread these ideas, with the hope to offer, together
with other people, concrete help and "not only words".
It must not be necessarily under the name of FNB. We will soon
give informations in Italian.
